Cookie Policy
Last updated: 26 March 2026 · Effective from: 26 March 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They help websites function correctly and remember your preferences. Similar technologies such as local storage serve the same purpose.
2. How InstantField Uses Cookies and Local Storage
The InstantField web application uses local storage (not traditional cookies) to store your authentication token. This keeps you signed in between sessions and is strictly necessary for the Service to function.
The InstantField marketing website (instantfield.com) does not set any analytics or tracking cookies. It uses Google Fonts (loaded from Google's servers), which may result in a network request to Google but does not set tracking cookies by us.
Cookies and storage we use
| Name / Type | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| Auth token (local storage) | Keeps you authenticated in the web app. Without this, you would be signed out on every page reload. | Until sign-out or expiry | Strictly necessary |
| Language preference (local storage) | Remembers your preferred language (English / Dutch) so you don't have to re-select it each visit. | Persistent | Functional |
3. Third-Party Cookies
Stripe
When you access billing or checkout pages, Stripe may set cookies on your device to prevent fraud and ensure payment security. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts
We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may result in a request to Google servers. Google may set cookies in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not control these cookies. If you prefer, you can use a browser extension to block Google Fonts requests.
4. No Analytics or Advertising Cookies
We do not currently use any analytics services (such as Google Analytics) or advertising/retargeting cookies on the InstantField platform or marketing website. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete individual cookies
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies (note: this will prevent the web app from functioning)
To manage local storage in your browser, use the developer tools (usually accessible with F12). Note that clearing local storage in the web app will sign you out.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies changes. The current version is always available at this page.
